Mark holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute and a specialist qualification in tax & legal aspects of business. He is currently working towards Chartered Adviser status, having completed the AF5 exam in financial planning. Mark graduated from the University of London where he obtained an Honours Degree in History.
Mark joined the financial services industry in 1991 and has been an independent financial adviser since 1996. He worked for many years as an IFA in the City of London before joining the Throgmorton Team.
Mark provides clients with a holistic financial planning service and believes that a thorough understanding of their objectives and circumstances is essential to a professional long-term relationship. Mark takes time to explain complex issues to clients using plain and simple English; he believes this approach to ensuring clients fully understand his advice is fundamental to all aspects of good personal and corporate financial planning.
In his leisure time, Mark enjoys art, architecture, photography and hill walking. He also likes to travel widely across Europe and has been further afield to Ethiopia, India and the United States.
