Phil holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and the Certificate of Mortgage Practice from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Phil has been working in financial services since 1987, previously advising clients as an independent financial adviser at HSBC Bank, before joining the Throgmorton team.
Phil specialises in advising on Investments and pensions. Phil is mindful that financial planning can be a complex area, so one of his key aims is to ensure that all of his clients have a good understanding of any area of financial advice that they wish to discuss. Phil enjoys putting together a solution that meets his clients’ individual needs, making sure that at each stage of the process his advice is clearly explained. Phil states that it is important to him that he explores all possible solutions so that “no stone is left unturned”.
In his spare time Phil is a keen golfer and salsa dancer. He also loves to go mountain biking, canoeing and skiing.
